Talk during a movie? Get shot in the arm.

In this article in the New York Times, David Carr reports about the uneasy feat of making it to all of the Oscar® nominated films before the big day in February.

While that's a valid (and seemingly popular) rant these days, what compelled me more about the piece was his notation about the Christmas Day shooting that took place in a Philadelphia movie theater because patrons were talking during a showing of THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON.

The mere thought of it takes our "What Went Wrong at the Theater" Cinebanter segment to a whole new level.

And yes, I'm pleased to say the attempted murder charges have been dropped against the shooter.

So all of you talkers out there: think twice about yapping in the theater this holiday season.
