Michael, I can't believe I'm about to write in about this... I know the exact part of "The Sound of Music" you are talking about because I sang that part too! But of course I'm a girl and I was in 10th grade when my high school did the musical. I played a nun and volunteered for the solo because no one else wanted it. (We had some kids in our show, but only as the Von Trapp kids.)
Other memorable moments from the show included going to a high school dance with one of the guys who played a Nazi (but he was really cute! and not evil) and turning 16 on the day of the last production. I don't act any more but it was a lot of fun.
VERY interested in your forthcoming thoughts on Burn After Reading. When we walked out of the theater today I still hadn't come to a decision on how I felt about what we had just seen.
Great show guys. Any chance you could add the Listener Last Five lists to the website, near Tassoula and Michael's say? Jordan and Branden had some great picks and it'd be useful to have them conveniently to hand. Thanks!
