I definitely enjoyed listening to this review more than watching Iron Man 2! I couldn't put my finger on why I found the movie so boring but I cracked up at your description of Don Cheadle as thinking he's in an Oscar-winning movie, and at the "hidden in plain sight" sequence. Michael, you were so right -- couldn't he have just written it down??

I also thought ScarJo as the Black Widow kicked ass (and that's speaking as a straight woman). I was thinking that it feels like it's been a long time since she's been in a major movie role; I guess the last one was "Vicky Christina Barcelona."

Also, I'm from Wisconsin but I have a lot of love for Chicago, so I was pleased to hear you talk about its movie heyday. One film you missed that was shot there was "Groundhog Day"; despite being set in Pennsylvania it was filmed in a northwest suburb sort of like the one where "Home Alone" takes place.
